Path Pocket Memories helps you capture life's stories — record an answer to a question, turn it into written text, and keep, share, or email your memories.
Path Pocket Memories is completely free to use.
Recording your answers, creating and saving memories, and listening back to them never cost anything. There is no subscription and no fee to use the app.
The only time there's a charge is when you choose to transcribe a recording into written text — a small, one-time fee based on how much audio you transcribe. If you never transcribe, you never pay.

We aim to reply within 2–3 business days. When you write, let us know your device (for example, “iPhone 14”) and what you were trying to do — it helps us help you faster.
Open the app and you'll see today's question on the Today screen. Tap the large record button, speak your answer, and tap it again to stop. You can also tap the Ask tab to type your own question and record an answer to it.
Open a memory and choose to transcribe it. The app converts your spoken words into text you can read, save as a PDF, share, or email.
The app itself is free, and so is recording, creating, and keeping your memories. You're only charged when you choose to transcribe a recording into text, and the small fee depends on how much audio you transcribe:
There is no subscription. You're charged only when you choose to transcribe — never for recording or creating memories.
Open the transcript and use the Share button to send it through Messages, AirDrop, or other apps, or use the Email button to send it as a PDF to any email address you enter.
Go to your Archive, open the memory you'd like to remove, and delete it. Memories are stored on your device, so deleting one removes it from your phone.
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. If you'd like to request a refund, you can do so directly with Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong on our end, please email us first and we'll do our best to make it right.
Path Pocket Memories needs permission to use your microphone. Open your device's Settings, find Path Pocket, and make sure the microphone is turned on. If you're still stuck, email us and we'll walk you through it.
